I lowered the front using the same method from here:
http://cmmt.netfirms.com/cgi-bin/top...c=2518&show=25
basically just cut off a section of the strut and insert a rod (paper clip, plastic rods, anything works really) in to work as a mounting point. Chopping the top of the struts away will even save this step as there are no reconnections necessary.

The rear suspension did not actually get a lowering job, but rather a camber change. Changing the camber of the rear wheels were enough to also give them the effect of being lowered. I just put a very small piece of 0.25mm styrene card between the wheel hub and where the multilinks meet (at that point, keep the styrene card at the bottom half of the connection otherwise you might end up with positive camber)

evil_hanzel: Yea the wheels does look a little bit small, perhaps it is made that way so they could reuse their decades old tires?

Re: TRD Altezza

Good job, good to see it finished. I like the carbon work, and the details on the rims, and nice job on the panel lines too. Rims are undersized, no question...

Re: TRD Altezza

Sweet build, looks flawless. The only thing is it looks a little vague without a license plate, but i guess its not a road car. Other than that it is one of the better altezzas i have seen posted yet.

Re: TRD Altezza

By far the best Altezza I ever saw done. I only wish you did it in Lexus IS200 plain version. wheels are small but very well done. Your close-up photopraphy skills are pretty good.
