1992 safari tbi injectors

i have a 1992 safari and it has an intermitting problem with the passengers side injector not working as you can imagine this causes problems. what would make one injector work while the other dosnt? i have had the cumputer replaced checked the ohms and when i use a volt meter on the leads i set it to 0.5 dc ma and it slows down 50 dcma it runs great and 250 dc ma shuts off the injector. any ideas?

Re: 1992 safari tbi injectors

Remove the top of the injector pod and exchange the injectors. Removing and swapping the injectors will also give you the opportunity to inspect and clean the injector inlet screens (near the bottom) and closely inspect the pintles and orifices.

If you suspect it is solely an electrical problem, you can try cross-connecting the electrical connectors on the MAXI injectors.
