what the hell wire is this - need quick answer
Alright here is the situation. I am in the process of getting my seats recovered. The rear and passenger are done and now its time to do the drivers. I can bolt the passenger into the drivers using just the three bolts for a week. My question is, under the drivers seat, there is a single wire the plugs into a small box. It's not a harness, just a single wire with a flat end which kinda makes me think its some kind of ground or sensor. I need to know if I'll be alright with that unplugged. If anyone has any input on this it would help.

its the sensor for the seatbelt. it lets you know if the seat belt is on or not. if you don't wear the seatbelt just leave it unplugged cause you'll always have a light on the dash showing that the seat belt isn't connected.

That's funny because come to think of it, I havn't seen that light on in awhile. I looked under the seat and it was unplugged (must have pulled out last time I took the seat out. In any case, thanks for the info!
