can anyone help????

one of my injectors was squirting out gas today so i noticed it was loose so i changed the o ring and put it back in. it didnt just slide in,i had to use a lot of force to get it flush. then when i went to start up the car it wouldnt start so i replaced the starter. then it wouldnt start unless i gave it a lot of gas. the whole way home it kept dying and the smell of gas was awfull. is my injector bad or is it a head? thanks....

Welcome to AF!!

I suspect the injector that came out may be damaged. Since the injector is held in by the O-ring and if the o-ring didn't come out with the injector it may be stuck in the injector port causing the fuel to come out. I would pull the injector back out and replace the o-ring again and then after coating with vasoline, reinstall. Start the car and if it leaks you will need to replace the injector with a new one.

The engine kept dying because you weren't getting fuel to one cylinder.

Good luck!
