Re: Gilles Villeneuve 1982 Ferrari 126c2

got the engine and rear suspension on. didnt do any detailing or anything i like to display my F1 cars with the body work on so i treat them all as curbside.

the body is glued on now, not much left to do now, just the mirrors, windscreen front suspension and rear wing and exhaust pipes and brake ducts, should be completed next week!

Very nice build, and you are fast too!
Wish I could build so fast as you do.

Re: Gilles Villeneuve 1982 Ferrari 126c2

Looking great as always.

I just wonder:
Did you already polish the body, or if not are you going to ?
I ask this because it seems like there is some structure (very faint orange peel) on top of the side pods (second picture, first post, above the 2 of 27). Or are my eyes deceiving me ?

Not that it detracts from your build, but it's the first time I see something like this on one of your builds...

no i didn't polish the paint. i don't believe the real car would have been polished or anything. so i just layed the clear on as smooth as i could from the spray can
