Re: Daytime Running Lights

I don't know if yours is the same as mine. I have a 2002 AWD and the daytime running lights only come on when I have the van in drive. Have you checked if they come on in drive?

Just a thought! Let me know if yours does the same thing!

Re: Daytime Running Lights

Didn't make a difference. I know there has to be a relay somewhere. Just don't know which one.

Re: Daytime Running Lights

I know where the relay is. At least on the 2002. The dealer did the work, so I cannot get specific, but it is in side pillar behind the driver's seat. You must remove the front bench seat and pop off the cover by where the rear heat comes out. That's all I know.

Re: Daytime Running Lights

Once I switched out the dealer upgraded radio/cassette/CD player, I could push the dome override switch twice and control the rnning ights and the daytime DLRs. I read something about the illumination wires being used for a radio, didn't think the dealer would mess it up...

Re: Daytime Running Lights

I had the same problem and it was the drl diode which is right beside the drivers seat behind the door post , costs about a hundred bucks. Looks like a small box with alot of cooling fins on it , you can test by jumping the connector but don't leave it that way as it illuminates the high beams. After mine was fixed the small light on the dash never worked afterwards.
