Lumina 98 3.8 L Cooling water...
Hi,
our Lumina have things in the Cooling water, its like white mud. Is that normal? The last change was couple of years ago... Oh before I change the water it was blue now we add red one... We did change the water but its coming back, can it be that was the rest?    |

is it thick and slimy? if so, it is oil.white-tan is usually motor oil,pink is ATF. with any luck it's just an oil cooler in the radiator and not a head or intake gasket.

Its beige not brown or pink, its not thick, i cant touch it... The oil looks like new, and we didnt have a leak, we didnt lost something.

i would take it out and clean it. see if it does it again. it may be something simple. maybe some kind of residue created from back pressure...
