Question 94 RM won't start

When I turn the key it just goes POP POP POP POP and the interior lights go off and on with each pop. Any assistance is appreciated. Starter?

Didn't work.....still getting the same result....popping/tapping noise when I try to crank it.....not a whirring noise.

Re: 94 RM won't start

Have you had the battery load tested and is it fully charged? Have you checked all the obvious things, like loose cable on the starter, or solenoid? You may have a bad starter or solenoid, but check all the other possibilities first.
