Gaah friggin B-Joint
okaaay so i'm finally putting my engine back in, i was putting in the axle (if you guys remember i had to take the entire assembly out) and found out i screwed up the threads on my upper balljoint pretty bad.... well .. like two threads.. but it's stonger than the nut that goes in there so it wont rethread. should i get a re-threader or buy a new upper balljoint?
hanes says you cant replace the balljoint alone but aap sells just the upper balljoint.. any idea how to get it out if i have to replace it? 95 mitsu eclipse rs fwd

If its not bad I would just try to get something to rethread it. How much is the new balljoint??

I'm not sure if you can replace the balljoint alone. If you can it will probably be hard. You will probably have to take a torch to it to heat it up.
