Im in a touring band that needs a 15 seater van... Help is MUCH appreciated!!

Hey guys,

Im in a band thats going to be going on tour very soon... we need to purchase a 15 seat van to get us, and all our equipment to all these gigs on time without car trouble.

We have a limited budget (need to lease/finance a car thats around $8k or less), so obviously we're only looking at used cars with lots of miles on them. How do these econolines seem to stand the test of time? Most likely the car we get will have between 80,000 and 120,000 miles on it, and we'll be easily putting upwards of 8000 miles on the car within the first month of ownership.

A lot of hte cars in our price range are either 90s econolines with between 80,000 and 100,000 miles on them, or early 2000s econolines with between 100,000 and 120,000 miles on them. Which do you guys think would be a better option? Any tips for when we go to purchase the car? Thanks so much for any and all help.
