Another AutoX, much better ressults!

new camber setting and brakes made a nice difference.
The race was at Moroso in Jupiter, Florida.

Some of you may remember the Top-Gear episode where the boys get chased by rednecks and almost stoned to death. well earlier on they go from Miami to Moroso and fat-Stig races all three cars on a go-kart track. well that very track is where we raced today.

My wife came out in the Redline and raced as well.
The LSJ boys are gonna be damn proud of her cause out of all the Ladies at the event (9) running she posted the third fastest time. she was the second fastest in a stock car and first place in her running division.
Yup, she and the Redline took home a 1st place trophy.
I am so damn proud of her!

The GTO didnt get trophies but hey, im getting quicker and quicker.

LSJ driven by a woman seems to be a pretty common thing, suprisingly. My car was originally owned by a girl and another local Cobalt SS was too. Both are in startlingly good shape. But who knew they had proficient driving ability?

Congrats to the lady, she made LSJers everywhere proud. Gotta love it! For once her whining was a good thing? Glad to hear the Goat is getting its ass around the track faster this time around!

Re: Another AutoX, much better ressults!

Thanks guys. I wish I could of gotten some vids of it. the redline was just carving through the course. We ran in the same group so we lined up one behind the other and ran the course. I would take off and then 20 seconds later she would take off. no time to video tape it, and none of our friends came out so it was impossible to document.

There where some cool moments too. An Audi A4 caught on fire, there was a guy in a Supercharged Shelby Mustang that ate it and ended up in the middle of the dirt field. there was a lotus Espirit and an Elise carving it up. A Dubbed out Capprise that couldnt stay straight. It was by far the best Auto X ive been to.
the best part was seing the ressult score board which read the best times of the day and my girl's name up there.

I love that Redline!
