air intake

im havin problems with my 03 trail blazer. there is this little motor or somethin. its right were the intake hose hooks up to the engine. there is this motor like think right there where it connects. when i turn the key on it makes a god awful nosie. clicks makes all kinds of noises. then check enige light and low power light comes on. what the heck is go on. hahaha
