Question OBD2 adpater?

ok, a place called ARDperformance.com is selling 1.6 ltr sohc vtec, ZC engines. they say the engine is for 91-95 civics but can be placed in a 96+ honda using an OBD2 adapter? i'm considering buying this engine next week for my broke down civic EX, but can anyone tell me where i can find an ODB2 adapter?

ARD is overpriced, and I have heard their customer service is for shit.Anyway it would depend on what "ZC" it is.But it isn't for a 91 and a 92-95 since they have two different clutch systems (cable/hydraulic) not to mention OBD differences between the two gens.So get clarification about which motor it is before you buy it and get screwed paying more to put it in your car.

EDIT:Not to mantion that you could run into legal issues gettingit smogged depending on your local laws.

sorry for the mis-type is is for 92-95 hondas, i heard that a company called HASsport makes the adapter i need. if you think ARD is bad then maybe you can give me a sugestion on where to get the correct engine for my car at a good price, the d16y8 97 or newer), its been a real pain in the ass to find one for some reason.

If one of those can't hook you up,search around all the boards for someone swapping out thier Y8 and see if you can get it for a good price.
