88-89 Sedan handles in 90 Hatch

Just wanted to let y'all know that the 88-89 sedan rear-door handles that I got from the junkyard fit perfectly in the hatch. I did the passenger side handle on Saturday, and it was a perfect fit. When I do the drivers side, I'll be writing a how-to on the swap, it's pretty easy once you know what to expect, and I'll be posting pictures once I get the handles painted and all that good stuff...

Also picked up my keyless entry actuators today, so I'm going to try to install them tomorrow. Looks pretty damn easy.

Sweet ... I am considering doing rear handles on the front of my 4 door ... but will only do it if I find ones that are the same color as my car as I am too cheap to paint em.

Hehe ... I was walking my dog a little while ago when I remembered this thread ... seen a ford windstar minivan with NO keyholes AT ALL ... I guess companies are realizing that keyholes arent needed if you got keyless.

that's the beauty of a hatch-back... you can always use your key on the hatch and crawl in.
