will exhaust manifold from a 92-95 lx fit a 98 lx???

im having trouble finding an exhaust manifold for a friends 98 civic lx(the one with the cat right under it) im wondering if an exhaust manifold from a 92-95 civic would work and be legal

i doubt it, the 5th gen is ODBI which has the O2 sensor in the manifold itself. the 98 is ODBII which i believe has the primary O2 right before the cat.

pretty sure it would work. but like Greenblurr93 said the o2 sencor is farther back. u could get an extension harness.other option might be to get an ebay header
