95 lumina 3.4 Tranny cooling lines
I have a 95 lumina ls with the 3.4. My question is how difficult is it to replace the two trans cooler hoses? Is It something a amatuer mechanic like me could do. If so what are the proccesses involved. Thanks in advance for any info.

Not tough, watch getting them out of the radiator be gentle, they may be rusted in, also make sure you route them as the old ones were, some oil will be lost at both ends of the operation, maybe a qt.

I went out and took a better look and i think your right i will pick up the parts tommorow and pull it apart. I only need to replace half the lines, The ones closer to the trans.

Re: 95 lumina 3.4 Tranny cooling lines
Hey thanks for the help, I did the lines today and was surprised how easy they came off. I am very happy to save myself some cash. But ofcourse when i was running it to check for leaks I found a new problem being a small pinhole leak in a small engine coolant line up near the brake system. Looks like theres more to do. Thanks again
