Door Hinges

I'm having some problems with my door hinges. I've got a 2000 Silverado C/K 2500 diesel 6.5L.

Door hinges are welded in place. I'd like to know if the hinge pins are replaceable. And how does one do so? Just hammer them out while supporting the door?

Re: Door Hinges

if the design is anything like my 95 silverado, you can get a hinge and bushing kit that replaces all those parts. i did it to my driver door and lo and behold, it didnt help. i think some fat-ass must have owned my truck in the past and used the door to help get into the truck and eventually wore out the actual holes that the bushings go into.
