Fuel Gauge stuck past full
Fuel gauge is stuck past full, I know there is about half a tank. I am giong to go check for broken wires here shortly and make sure it;s grounded correctly. I hit a bump the other day and it started to work till I hit the next bump. Any other thoughts???

Re: Fuel Gauge stuck past full
check the wires first, then work back.
a friend of mine had that problem, and it was the sender itself. the stupid part is how hard it is to get to the tank to check it. good luck!

I have the same problem with my 93, c1500. I bought the truck used with 268,000 miles. Did you figure this out? I could use some advice and pointers on how to fix this on my truck!! TIA. Charles... |
