Fuel Gauge stuck past full

Fuel gauge is stuck past full, I know there is about half a tank. I am giong to go check for broken wires here shortly and make sure it;s grounded correctly. I hit a bump the other day and it started to work till I hit the next bump. Any other thoughts???

check the wires first, then work back.

a friend of mine had that problem, and it was the sender itself.
the stupid part is how hard it is to get to the tank to check it.
good luck!

Hi;

I have the same problem with my 93, c1500. I bought the truck used with 268,000 miles.

Did you figure this out? I could use some advice and pointers on how to fix this on my truck!!

TIA.

Charles...
