HobbyTown State Contest

Our local Las Vegas HobbyTown sponsors a model show every year. The turn out is pretty good - this year there were over 100 models, including armor, sci-fi and car/bikes. I didn't take a lot of pictures but here are some of the models that I liked:

awesome 49 mercury:

Some bikes:

My entry ( I won 1st place in adult motorycle)

A nice used truck:

awesome titanic - all four foot long of it:

it won best of show - well deserved

this one is a star wars model, whos creator worked with the hollywood crew that build the original model for the movie - he says it has every battle scar, chipping and detail that the original Skywalker craft used in the movie:

Love that Xwing. Very cool damage/weathering. Nice shots, thanks for posting.

Awesome pic's, and congrats on the hardware. Cant wait to get my skills improved to the point of being able to have a chance to win trophy's.

Compliments! I really love your display concept for the RC211, mechs/frame in primer under the finished body with the full detail naked bike aside, very original and smart to me. BRAVO!

Fantastic also the old truck, I really love when artists narrow the distance between art&models, and so far the XWing.
