Keyless entry reprogram for 2003
I have a 2003 grand am and I have searched all the forums for the reprogram steps and found many, but they are all for other year GAs. Does anyone know the steps for reprograming the keyless entry remote for a 2003 GA?

Welcome to AF.
You will need to take it to the stealership or someone that has a tech II scan tool.

I know there is a way to do this without the scan tool. I have a friend who did ot on a later model Trans Am and I have a friend going to mechanic school who told me it could be done. (the dumbass left town since graduating and hasn't gotten back to me) I've searched and tried all the ones in this forum and I have searched the inter net and only found one answer to a 2003 GA reprogam, but I have to join the site and pay $3.

I dont think its possible! It might just be the specific year of TA's not the newest, before production ended.
Here is the only thread I've seen with programing instructions, doesnt list 2003 but it does require a tool. Programing remotes 1997 to 2004 models Good Luck
