Chrysler New Yorker, 5th Avenue

Hey all,

I own a 93 Chrysler New Yorker 5th Avenue, and I got a hit and run a while back. I haven't got an estimate yet, but I know it's more than what I paid for the car. The major damage is on the left rear door, so I was going to try and find a door to replace it. My questions are:

1. Will a 93 Chrysler Imperial door fit on my car?
2. What is an estimated price for replacing (rewiring, painting) the door?
3. If I get the exact paint color for the door, will it be noticeably different than the rest of the car?

Well if anyone has answers to any of these questions, I'll be happy to hear them!

Re: Chrysler New Yorker, 5th Avenue

not sure on pricing but if you get the exact color it could be off a bit due to fading on the original paint you best bet is when you pain the door to put another coat of clear on the sorounding panels door fender quarter what have you and then buff to blend or you might be able to get away with just buffing it depending on how close the color match is my advice to you is use your own judgment on that part not sur if the imperial will fit but the dynasty is the identical car just different grill lights and tail lights hope this helps you
