2000 5.9L w/ 52mm Holley TB

Has anyone here installed a Holley 52mm Holley Throttle Body on their Durango? The reason being is that the stock air tube does not fit snug over the Holley like it did over the stock Throttle Body. Will it be a problem if i cut the ridges out of the inside of the air tube in order for it to fit?

Never done it. But it should be OK, I would use a clamp to keep it in place.
