Tranny Type.....
IHOW DO I KNOW WHICH ONE I HAVE?
I KNOW IT HAS A MODULATOR VALVE AND I WANTED TO ALSO KNOW DO THAT HAVE TO B HOOKED UP TO A VACUUM SOURCE FROM THE MANIFOLD OR CARB?

yup its a 350....i feel really stupid right now....i appreciate u guys help for all u have helped me with....but wut i jus noticed is gonna take the cake....i had the modulator valver hose goin to the port on the carb that the vacuum advance hose pose to go to...and vice versa.....i called this guy at jeg's and he informed me that having it hooked up like that would make it idle real high and eventually bog down and backfire thru the carb....do u all agree?

It wouldn't run right, but I really don't think that would cause it to pop through the carb.

any tips on how to check a bad valve...i know its n the head...so do i have to take the head off to see....nevermind dumb question huh?except for the first one
