93 chevy bed
ok i have a 93 chevy 1500 2wd and i had a 200lbs sidwalk slab in the bed for traction this winter. the block when the ice broke would slide and hit the inner bed sides. it put bid dints all over the inner bed and tailgate. the tailgate opens fine but its just dented all over badly. i know ill probably have to replace the tailgate but is the a way to fix the rest or would i have to replace the bed?

Re: 93 chevy bed
You could try hammering the dents out if you can see them from below, otherwise live with it or replace it.
Any time you have anything in the bed (especially long-term), it should be tied down with something strong enough to hold it in place. If you'd been in a bad enough accident or slid into a concrete pillar, the concrete slab would have gone flying forward and possibly gone through the rear window. 1 lb of steel is enough to kill someone. Just something to think about.

Re: 93 chevy bed
Purchase a cheap bedliner and tailgate cover and you won't see the dents.
