Engine Idle jumps from 1000rpms to 2000rpms, when parked, why!?
So the other day I started my car up and in the parked position the engine started jumping from 1000rpms (normal idle) to 2000rpms, it jumps up and down until I turn the car off.
If I drive the car and put it in gear then it drives its self in any gear! because it keeps jumping in RPMS... some times it will just stay steady at 3000rpms.. So I popped the hood and found that the AIR tube connecting from the short ram air intake to the engine was disconnected. I bought a new tube and it still does the same thing, THIS DIDNT FIX ANYTHING, WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM!?

Test IAC and check for vac leaks.

Check your idle closed switch too, its that little wire that sits near the throttle cable on the throttle body. Make sure it is connected.
