SeaFoam?

hey all, is sea foam worth putting in a car? I was thinking about putting it into my beater car. Any bad things? Any good? Does it do anything? Thanks for the help!

Re: SeaFoam?

it will probably help. just like with any fuel additive, i wouldnt use it unless the car needs it. and the car isnt very new. but it can help.

Re: SeaFoam?

im not sure i understand why he disconnected a vacuum line. yeah seafoam can do good, it will clean off carbon deposits, coked up oil in the intake valves, and all that crap will go out of the exhaust. if its a buick, i wouldnt hesitate. older american cars use less complex and sensitive fuel injection systems so you should be ok dumping one in every now and then.

Re: SeaFoam?

he took off the vaccum line going to the brake booster, and poured it into the motor. My buicks motor is strong i just want to clean it out without taking it apart for fear of it never running again, lol. Slide u hafta check out the electra forum, some little kid called the people in this sight "tards" cause we dont think a nitrous 12 second buick is cool!!!!! haha omg i know preludes arent that fast but there way cool cars out there for cheap. everyone need to post on this "ghost town". what is peoples take on VW's VR6 i almost bought a corrado a while ago and there cheap now. Are they alright? I think VR6 sound pretty cool and have some torque.
