Exclamation Geekout?

OK Houston folks......

I'm thinking of having another "geekout" at my house a week from Saturday. Before I commit to this though, between the Houston folks on this forum, and the SE-R Mailing List, I want to have at least 4 confirmed folks coming So far I have two from the SE-R mailing list and 2 possibles. I think Phil (from this forum) is interested. How about the rest of the Houston folks?

Basically, we'll just be working on our cars doing whatever. It seems everyone always has some things that need to be don't but we never get around to doing them for whatever reason. If you have parts to install that you are either putting off, or you're not sure how, this is prime time to come!

I will most likely be working on my SE-R getting it ready to get it running again. I've got lots of little stuff to do to it. Unfortunately, I won't have the Primera front bumper cover yet to scope out how to mount it. I'll probably work on that at the Thanksgiving geekout.

A couple of the SE-R guys may not be working on their cars and they have excellent knowledge, so it's a good time to get some things done.

I also host an annual geekout the Friday after Thanksgiving and that one is usually very large (we've had as many as 15 drivers and 12 cars show up for that).

I need a show of hands by the end of this weekend.

OK guys, just a reminder that we are having a geekout at my house this Saturday.

Lew Shadoff with the 200SX SE-R with the HS turbo kit will be here. Bruce Hearn, chief mechanic on our SCCA ITS SE-R will be here. We'll have 1-2 other SE-R folks and I'd love to see some of the G20 folks make it out. I know there are 4 or 5 G20 folks from Houston here.

We'll be starting around 10 am. Bruce has some minor work to do on his SE-R, Scott Opheim needs to swap springs, and I have a variety of things to do (including installing a new fuel pump). If any of you have parts you need to install, Saturday would be a great time to get it done. You'll have a lot of experienced folks around.

Could you email directions to me? I'll try to attend depending on how wasted I get tonight.

Wow Geo,
I wish I would have known sooner.... I might be able to make it, but I doubt it. I knew you were talking about having one, but I don't normally read this section....my bad I guess...... Have fun and take care this weekend and good luck on the SE-R... Tell everyone they are more than welcome to stop by Mesquite on Oct 27th for out engine building party. Jody and I will be assembling shortblocks and getting them ready to go into out SE-R's that weekend.

Jon
