Gasoline (not exhaust fumes) coming through air vents in dash

I have a 2004 GT1 and recently I have Gasoline fumes entering the car through my vents while driving, and just sitting at lights with the engine running. I know the differance between exhaust and actual gasoline fumes. I checked under the hood for visible fuel leaks. Anyone who could fill me in the possibilities would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scotto

Welcome to AF.

Sounds like you have a fuel leak. Could be a line or one of your injector "O" rings are bad and leakin the fuel out. Check around the fuel pressure regulator.

Also is the long rubber gasket under the hood on top of the fire wall damaged ? Or missing ?
That would allow the fumes to enter the blower area .

Good Hunting

if it isnt the o rings on the injectors or a fuel line. check to see if you have an intake manifold leak. sounds like a vacuum leak
