1987 S-10 2.5 L Pick up firing order

Any quick answers for the firing order for my 87' S-10 2.5 liter. I'm a novice mechanic! I recently replaced the rotor and Cap only to result in mis-firing and inability to start the truck. I replace the wires one by one so not to mix them up but, some how screwed it all up.

I am buy a manual tomorrow but looking for a quick fix.

All or most 4cyl. firing orders are 1-3-4-2. The tricky part is finding out which terminal on the cap is #1. Bar the engine over so that your are at tdc #1 cylinder. Remove the cap. The position the rotor is facing will give you your #1 terminal.
