After repairing the head gasket in a 97' Jeep with only 12,000 miles on new block. The lower end developed a knock shortly after start up. Yes, there was evidence of h2o in # 3 & #4 piston. It continues today, but I am afraid to drive it . I have checked the fly wheel & bolts. I have also tried disconncting each injector, doesn't seem to change sound. Is it time to drop the oil pan?

Re: Knock After H/G Repair
fastfo, Welcome to AF. Hopefully we can help with your problem. I noticed you started 2 threads with the same info....not necessary and I'll close this one so we can continue on the other one.
Again, welcome, and please see my questions on the other thread.
