Light Weight Camper Trailer
I am looking for a camper/trailer that I can haul with my '98. It needs to be under 1,000 lbs, but big enough for a 6'6" guy to sleep in. I've been looking around and about the only thing I can find are teardrop trailers. The T@B is cool, but pricey and weighs more than I can handle. I found a company called Little Guy which seems to fit the bill, but I don't really know much about them and their closest dealer to me is a couple hours away. I heard about something called a Whatzit (or something like that - can't find the site) but it isn't aestechically pleasing...very ugly.
Does anyone know much about teardrops and does anyone own one that could testify to how it suits their needs, hauls, etc..? Let me know. I am leaning towards taking a trip to actually see a Little Guy and saw a pic of a mustang hauling one on their site - it looks like they have modern (what I am looking at) and retro styles. The bottom line is that I wanted to completely research everything before I acted...I am seeking out opinions of fellow stang owners... Please share any knowledge you may have on this topic...much appreciated! |

Re: Light Weight Camper Trailer
Dont know much about travel trailers but I remember seeing a guy that pulls his 4-wheeler to the track with his green fox hatchback. Car ran 10's too.
