Weekly Simpson review.
I've decided that since I love The Simpsons soo much I'd start this thread. Everyweek I'm gonna review the eps. Now take in mind this is just my opinion. Also feel free to add your own reviews. I also feel I should add that this thread will have many spoilers I'm sure, so if you haven't seen the ep & like surprises, click back now.
I'm not goin' to start a new thread everyweek, so check back with this one. I'm goin' to rate them on a 1-10 scale. Okay, here we go; Tonights episode: Pray Anything 4.5 Started out just so-so. I didn't find the Lisa gag with the WNBA funny at all(not Lisa Simpson). Just flew right over my head. I did however laugh out loud at the Gill & Moe moment. Anyways, we get into the...ahem..."plot"(if you can call it that). The previews would have you believe that it was all about Homer praying too much, but that really only last for the first act or so. I was expecting something along the lines of Homer The Heretic but no, I'd have to say this was the first religion ep I did not like. Here are some other things I did not like; Rod & Tod speaking in tonques, blashemy if you ask me. Shock scene(in the preview). To cartooney, reminded me of the Scully years. Flood scene. Also too cartooney. In 3 minutes the entire town's flooded. Come on FOX? Kernal Sanders. This one just flew right over my head... Homer air-guitar. I dunno, just didn't like it. Okay, stuff I did like; With the Scullinest of this ep, Homer refrained from the "jerk" version. Surprised. Gil & Moe. Texan dancing. I love that guy. Bacon-fudge. Sounds good actually. The ep that followed was The Great Louse Detective, but I ain't goin' into that. I'll review it when it's the first of the two shown. That's how I'm doin' it. Anyways, I'm looking forward to next week with the whole 300th ep special. Hope it's good.

I have actually lost interest in watching the simpsons lately, not because I dont like it anymore, but because I have actually found that I have a life besides sitting at home on my ass. I do however plan on watching the 300th episode special as well, and do hope very much that it does not suck, but come on, would you really expect the 300th episode of the simpsons to suck?

Even if the 300th episode does suck, there are 2 other episodes that night so it'll still be good.

This week's episode: Barting Over.
Warning...Spoliers...
Weel, tonight we celebrate the 300th(or is that the 302th? Ha..a good joke)ep of The Simpsons. On my scale I have to give this one a 8.5. Reason it didn't get a 10 is because of the useless Blink 182 joke. They only had one or two lines, & they weren't even that funny. Plus, I hate them so... ![]() But no, this was very good. I didn't want to expect too much, but this was excellent. Starts off with a fairly good chalkboard gag(however, I'm beginning to wonder if this is the end of these because of the nature of it...), then jets to a very good couch gag. Okay, stuff I did like; The emancipated joke. The Homer/MJ joke. The guy sayin' he'd buy a suit of drugs. The furbies. Old Nelson. The 300/302 meta joke. Bart coloring on his arm with a marker in his loft. Milhouse's stuffed dog. By the way, was that a real stuffed dog, or was it a just a stuffed animal? Still funny either way. The Butterfinger meta joke. Thing is though, INHO, couldn't they render the bars like in the commercials. You can barely tell it's a Butterfinger. Also, the previews showed these lame "I love Simpsons" quotes from other FOX stars, well they didn't show that. Goody! Okay, stuff I didn't like; Blink 182. Baby stink breath. I thought they could've done more with this. Or at least make more. And changing dna when Bart was a baby?! We can't even do that now! Also, I was dissapointed that the 90 minute special didn't consist of a doc. I wasn't aware that it was 3 eps. One of those a rerun I wasn't crazy about. I'm sorry, but that 5-minute BBN doc on the first dvd just wasn't enuff for me. So anyways, I was pleasently suprised. I'll post the review for the other one tommarow. Peace.

I also enjoyed this episode, I liked very much the MJ thing, that was great. I hope they put out more episodes like that.
