Will the ever be a new McLaren????

Will we ever see a new McLaren F1. I know McLaren is assisting MB with the new SLR (or whatever it is called). But will we ever see a new car badged as a McLaren that will take the place of the original F1.

All I can do is hope????

Rest assured, the McLaren F1 roadcar will never be produced again. And as McLaren has said, they don't expect to ever produce anything like it to compete with it. They are working on other projects for other companies, such as the Mercedes SLR, but not another McLaren.
I guess Xotech answered my question, Thanks.

McLaren Successor?

I see you found one of my other posts. I was looking for where it was that I had posted that answer to someone elses question.

I will be the first to relent should McLaren Cars reconsider and proceed to build a successor to the McLaren F1, but it is my belief that they will not do so. I especially feel this is true if one believes what Gordon Murray says about it. He was interviewed by EVO Magazine February 2003. He was asked his opinion relative to the new Bugatti Veyron and others up and coming. His comments are quite to the point about any expectations of a new McLaren.

Very good magazine issue.

And of course, the McLaren F1. Anywhere worldwide.
