Photoetched parts made in ??
Hi,
I would like to know the material silverish photoetched parts are made in, specially Tameo's PE. Is it aluminium or steel? Are wheels turned in aluminium or steel too? I need knowing it in order to leave several parts without clear or not, because steel rusts and aluminium not (in fact it does, but it is the normal aluminium colour for us). Thanks in advance. |

Re: Photoetched parts made in ??
There are various types of photo etch, although I am not certain which category the Tameo one falls into, the most common ones seem to be:
nickel plated brass naked brass stainless steel Wheels are turned in aluminium. The correct term is aluminium oxidizes. Polished aluminium will oxidize and lose its brightness over time unless coated with a sealant.
