Question Aftermarket radio

I want to put in an aftermarket cd player in my car. But I'm a little worried about the whole security code thing. Is it only with the factory radios that you end up having to put a security code in or is it with the aftermarket radios also?

Re: Aftermarket radio

You should be fine, rip it out and get your faceplate, adapater and such and install it, you MAY need to cut the plastic in the back of the hole where your cd player comes out for it to fit, I had to trim the back so the cd player would go in all the way...........
