2001 yukon wont start

My yukon was running fine then stalled with no warning. The fuel indicator fell to empty and the LOW FUEL message appeared on the message center and the indicator that shows you what gear your in (just the little square) disappeared, all other guages work fine. The truck turnes over but will not start. I am 100% sure that I have at least 1/2 a tank of fule. Any ideas....PLEASE!

mine was doing the same thing, until I had the ignition switch replaced and the body control module reset.

Check for spark. ( Try squirting carb cleaner into throttle body)
Check fuel pressure

Re: 2001 yukon wont start

Try this... turn the key to ON (not RUN) and listen for the fuel pump to hum... if it hums, turn the key OFF anf the to ON again and then to RUN and see if it turns over and starts. If this works then the check vale in your fuel pump has gone bad and you'll have to replace the pump. If it doesn't hum, then your fuel pump is probably dead and you need a new one. I had mine done around 101,000 miles (which is pretty good for fuel pump) and it cost me around $700. The good news is that I'm good for another 50-100K miles. Hope this helps.
