02 trailblazer instrument cluster lights

i have recently purchased an 02 tb, as of today thecluster lights are completely off,icluding the lights on the radio, heater, rear wiper control and awd control as well. the mileage light is on as well as the radio display. i checked the fuses and cant seem to find any blown fuses, does have anyone have a clue how i can fix this problem or has anyone had this problem?
