97 cav motor mounts
Could anyone please give me some helpful hints on changing the hydrualic motor mount on a 97 cav? The instructions included with the replacement mount detail drilling with a 9/16" drill bit, chiseling something apart and placing the mount in a bench vise. It sounds like the mount is concealed inside a housing of some sort.
Is the mount accessable from the top or bottom of the car? Thanks, |

Re: 97 cav motor mounts
WTF??
Hydrolic motor mount? Thats a new one to me. There is a lower dog bone, Upper mount and the transmission mount. Auto is a big sucker like the upper and the manual is 2 rubber bushings that need to be pressed out/in. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() These are all after market mounts but what one does is resemble to the one your trying to replace? There are no other mounts on the motor/trans.
