What was the code no?
Is it low on coolant?
Or just low tempture reading.
Sometimes on will cause the other.
If full of coolant and tempture is low go for a thermostat.
If low on coolant find the leak.
The theromostat will be on the end of upper hose to intake.

Yes replace the thermostat, follw the upper radiator hose to the intake, and there it will be. Two 13mm headed bolts hold it on, and it uses an o-ring seal, so it will be a very easy job for you!! But like MT-2500 said, make sure the coolant is not low, and if it is you will want to fix the leak, but replace the thermostat also! Good luck.
