Mitsubishi Delica Star Wagon 4WD Super Exceed

This is my new project:

It's the Mitsubishi Delica Star Wagon 4WD Super Exceed from Aoshima scale 1/24.

Most of the parts will be for the intorior, just a basic kit I think.

Aoshima included some balloon tyres and ugly wheels.

I'll use some lowprofile Pegasus swirlstar wheels.

The interior will be custom made with a lot of speakers etc.

The body will be stock but I think a Mica Red or Gun Metal paintjob is enough.

Kris.

Re: Mitsubishi Delica Star Wagon 4WD Super Exceed

I decided to use other wheels. I've now 19 or 20 inch VIP wheels for it.

I also painted the body of this van. I painted with 4 layers of Mica Red and clearcoated it 3 times after adding some decals.

Love the colour

After a week drying I'll polish it for more shine.

Kris.

Well, I'd rather accept offroad conversion than that, but it's up to you.opcorn:

Re: Mitsubishi Delica Star Wagon 4WD Super Exceed

mmm... thanks for feedback :S

Today I worked on the I.C.E. I want to remove the seats from the back and replace some music components on it. The floor will be ''tearplated'' (don't know the exact word )
I also replace the frontseats for some ''sport'' seats instead of the ugly stock ones.

Here is my idea:

These components will be used.

Re: Mitsubishi Delica Star Wagon 4WD Super Exceed

I've done some work on the interior.

I flocked the ICE installation with red flocking and added BMF on the tearplate.

This week I hope to do some more work on the interior and polish the body

I understand what he means, not a weathering as it was dirty but a light blackwash to give more depth to the aluminium sheet.

Re: Mitsubishi Delica Star Wagon 4WD Super Exceed

First I have to say I completed the interior.

I primed it and that was one of the colours I wanted to use. The other colours are flat black and red. I added black interiorflocking on the floor and some details are painted silver.

The seats are from (I thought) a Skyline R32 GTS-t and the steeringwheel from a Golf MKIII. The radio (Alpine) is from automobilminiaturen.de

The body is also polished. I didn't sand it because I was angry to sand through the paint because of the rough surface (high and lower details you know?)
So instead I polished it with all the Tamiya compounds and I love the shine

I also painted and added all the light around the car.
