biggest tires you can fit?

on a 2001 SLT with the 16" rims, how big of a tire you can fit before there is any kind of rubbing?

I just fitted some Michelin LTX 275/70R16 on mine - no rubbing.

I have 31's on mine and they dont eaven come close to rubbin.
