Question Website that sells Body Kits for models?

For the life I've me I can't find it. I've tried searching, looking through posts and nothing. I forgot to bookmark it. Anyone got it handy?

http://www.jacksoncreation.com, of course I have to build the kits from scratch so it is a bit more costly than Scale auto style. but I am not limited to what I can make, if you can show me a pic, I can make it!!

Do you think you could mold some body kits for 1/18 scale diecast models? I have a lot of them and my collection needs a little spice up. Now for plastic models, How much do you think you would charge for a full kit.

The die cast I can't really help you with, My tools just aren't designed for metal working (though I'm sure I could do a little something to it if I really tried). The plastic kits just give me A LOT more freedom to do what I want with them. as far as pricing, I have to see what all you would like done 1st, then I can qoute you accordingly. The Del Sol I am building right now is running my customer $300.00 for labor (Not counting any extra parts, i.e. wheels, speakers, anything I don't scratch build.)

when you are planning on building a 1:1 version of that model, 300 bucks is nothing.......hell of al ot cheaper than getting some designers in there to design the car

Maybe, but when you consider the countless hours that go into creating something that no one else has it seems a little more worth it. after all it is just art, $300.00 for an original peice of quality art would be considered a steal when talking about a painting (which ALOT less time usually goes into) in a museum. I don't try to rip people off or anything, but if you want an original it is not worth my time for any less. It just depends on who you ask. You would pay $300.00 or more for a wing or something like that for your real car that you would show off, so what's so different about paying that much for a exact copy of your entire car?? it's all a matter of opinion

I don't really make that much, it takes so long to build a custom body kit ( Mainly becouse of my demanding work schedule) and I really love doing it so I don't mind. I just figure if I put that many hours into something I am going to just turn around and get rid of, they had better pay a pretty penny.

These kits are not "cheap" toys.... they are works of art. Why do you think the car modeling forum is within the automotive "art" section. Its the same thing as building a house... just a smaller scale.

WELL said clatescivicr!!, unless you understand that this is art, then the whole point is just lost on you IMO.
