Completed: Lotus 99T

Phew, a bit of a rush at the end but the Lotus is completed and will be my entry into AFMOTY07. Its taken 2 months and 7 days which isnt too bad really I suppose, if I could keep it like that then I could get 6 models done a year... yeah right!!!

Anyway thanks againt to one and all for following aqnd for the kind encouragements as always, I hope you enjoyed the build. I'm off to (sunny) Bournemouth for a couple of days so I will be back onto the TR7 when I get back.

Enjoy the pics, there will be many more on my site when I get it updated.

WIP thread is here and more completed pics are at my website here

all the best guys.

Re: Completed: Lotus 99T

I think this is your best model yet.You have pushed the detail up a notch on this build.I also think your paint finish is very high on this one,not to say it was bad before, because it wasn't,but I think again you have moved it on to another level. It looks remarkably clean and the shine is very impressive.I really admire all the engine details and the carbon decal work as well.Really excellent build and now I have your Triumph TR7 to follow, happy days!!

It was a pleasure following your WIP and the finished model is really looking absolutely brilliant.
I'm not a fan of Ayrton Senna or this car, but I really do like your build and your skill !!

All your work and detailling is so delicate and clean. It was great following along on this and even better to see it here. I really like this car and all your fine work just makes me look at it all the more.

Re: Completed: Lotus 99T

A real great looking car Sean there are so many aspects of it that are outstanding it is truly very hard for me to fine just one favorite. Your WIP will be a great reference for when I get to mine.

Great result of a great WIP thread. It's been a joy to follow and i'm really envious about the little time you needed to get this jewel finished!
