rims or kit or drop?

I have a 00 Prelude that is already relatively low. It's not lowered but the stock heighth is kinda low. Anyway I don't know if I should do 18's and a kit or 17's and a drop. Also, if I do 18's with a kit would it be gay to get the kit first? Any opinions would be great. Thanks a lot.

sounds like u have a nice car to work with. the people who i kno who've gone for show with their preludes did he following: 17's, kit, coil overs. this way, u can adjust the height so that ur kit won't be scraping all over the place, yet have it low enough to look very clean. keep me updated on wut u do.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'd prolly get the kit first though cuz I got some riding with some pretty new Falkens right now so I want to wait on the rims. Would it be gay if I got the wwrs kit before anything. I've already got some other stuff.

Actually there are a lot of Preludes with just the WW RS-/ OEM-kit and stock rims! And at the end nothing is gay as long as YOU like it on YOUR car.

Do you ever order from Versus? I'm going to order my kit from there I guess tomorrow and have em paint it. Ever heard anything about their paint jobs or anything?

yo...definitely do 18s (without a doubt)...if your going to put a kit on the car put it on first so you know if you wanna drop it or not. If you do drop it use skunk2 coilovers (if you can afford it do the H&R's (mad money)).

What else do you have done to it?

-92 Prelude
-Black Widow Kit
-Ractive Intake
-Catback Naxos Exhaust
-Pioneer interior speakers
-Kicker L5 Sub 10"
-Rockford 250a2 amp
-Sony Xplod cd unit
-HIDs
-Indiglo gauges

Sounds like a plan. I got my kit and exhaust. I got the wwrs kit with greddy evo exhaust. I still need to paint the kit but it's on besides the side skirts. It looks sick. The rear is really close to the exhaust though. I also have aem cai, clear side markers, an alarm and limo tint. I'm gettin my spoiler probably tomorrow.

But remember that 18" rims will slow your car down a lot because of the bigger wheel diameter and additional weight! So if you want a show car then go for it but if you want to go fast then stay with 16".

Yeah 18s will slow the car down. I'll probably just go in between and get 17s. 16s are just too small.
