gauges jump with key on but won't start
I turned the key to the on position and my gauges start jumping erratically, but when I try to start they stop. I can hear a relay tripping in the engine compartment. I can also hear a small motor running in the engine compartment. I just had the tranny rebuilt and had to replace the battery. Also, yesterday my car died when I slowed down to make a turn twice, I just put it in neutral and it started right up with no problem. Any Ideas?

Yes, it was a lose gound wire from the battery to the tranny. The wire was on the stud but the nut was not tighten, at the tranny housing.

it is all too common that when we pay large amounts for labor this is how the work gets done. whenever you have work done, check vehicle out especially the areas they were working on. good luck |
