88 engine?

ola.

New to the forum and have a question that I'm sure you've all heard about 50,000 times.

I'm looking into replacing my little 1.5 with a "fast off the line" motor that has good bolt on acc. and is relitivly easy to put in. I've been told an integra ls block with a vtec head would be a good idea but I don't trust my source all that much.

Any help would be real nice.

Thanks

Yo Audio, check out my Honda Enthusiasts page in you need any info on what engine came from where. 88 is correct about the del-sol and civic thing. As for the LS/VTEC hybrid, if you do it, make sure you do it EXACTLY correct. otherwise it won't last long. Not really the easiest and trustworthy swap. You could always either go B16, or a D16Z6 or D16Y8 or a ZC, but the ZC lacks aftermarket support...well compared to the rest.
