Re: Beach City Corvette

Brilliant!

But is this based on a real car? and on a resinmodel? Or how did you make it?

Re: Beach City Corvette

It's based on real car, I found some info about it on the draglist. I guess it raced alot in Orange County and was built by Don Kirby.
It's a resin body with a blue max mustang by polar lights as a donor kit as its chassis. I had to scrap the kit roll bar and build one to fit the vette. I had fun building this one. As usual, at first I had some problems then things just seemed to flow right along.

Re: Beach City Corvette

I love it, excellent shine. Great detailing on the engine, especially on the scoop.

Re: Beach City Corvette

I came to the table with years of building under my belt and have learned soooo much from you guys! The awesome work you guys put out on a regular basis is incredible and a major source of inspiration that helps to push me to build cleaner. When I had a million problems with my paints, reading through mounds of threads with great ideas helped me out!

Right on to AF!!!!!
