93 nissan altima
when ever I hit a small bumb or on a dirt road it sounds like the rear of my car is falling off .it makes a loud thumbing sound in the trunk area .I looked under it but didn't find any thing loose and made sure there were no junk in the trunk.. what eles should i look for.... it rides good and quite down the main roads thanks Sherman

Is your tire screwed down? How about your jack? Everything has to be tightened down.

i had a guy at the shop up the road check the shocks and he said the rubber mounts that the shocks conect to to was wore out. anyone know any thing about ?

Yeah, you don't wanna do it yourself. They have to be replaced, if its what I'm thinking, new shocks should come with them.
