Springs and Shocks

I just put 17's on my 93 prelude, want to lower. It has 135,000 miles, so I'm going to do springs and shocks at the same time. Does it really matter what brand to get? I don't want a slammed ride, like 1.5" would be fine with me...Is it expense to have put on? If I get a package deal, do the springs come on the shocks already? I'm thinking if they did, I could do it myself and save money...

I forgot - is www.modacar.com a reputable site? They have a Tokico suspension pkg - springs (1.5") and shocks for $419. I was thinking that was a good deal...

Yes, very reputable. I've delt with them before and nothing but GOOD experiences.
