Green harness under intake manifold on GSR motor?? IAB solenoid?? PICS inside!
I went to look at my friends Eg / GSR hatch today to get an idea of the vtec wiring and see where some hoses went.
He has a 92 Cx (98GSR) so most of the vtec wires were already wired. Anyhow, he had this one wire that ran from a green harness under the intake manifold that ran into the back of the motor. I could not get a picture of the harness since it's under the manifold. It's in the dark area: ![]() What's confusion me is the fact that I was told the IAB is shown below. I could clearly see on his motor that the wire in the pic up top was not spiced in at the red / black wire in my 2nd pic. ![]() So what's right? I know his vtec works (even though he has a CEL -->No o2) Here's where the wire in the first pic meets the ECU: ![]() I know it's not a good shot, but I didn't have any tools to remove the ECU from the kick panel, sorry!
